Millie May has been on the gigging circuit for over seven years, and has build up a repertoire of over 60 originals and over 3 hours worth of covers from 60’s to present.
Some of her influences include Florence and the Machine, Lana Del Rey, Kate Bush, Siousxie and the Banshees and Marina and the Diamonds.
Millie’s hometown is Shrewsbury in Shropshire but is currently based in Birmingham.
Millie May recently played Lunar Festival on the New Breed Stage, became a featured artist on Cannock Chase Radio, Rock Rally Fm, and the Everyone Live Lounge show on South Birmingham Radio, became Switch Radio’s track of the week with her original ‘Songbird’, has been featured on the soundtrack to ‘Relentless’, an upcoming Indie film, and has had a residency at the Hilton Garden Inn Brindley Place, every Saturday night from July to December 2018. She is known by multiple venues across the UK, owns her own PA and is available for bookings.
Millie has recently released a live and acoustic EP named ‘Millionaire’, which is available on Soundcloud. More original music will be released in 2019.
