Introducing Phil

One of the best loved local voices in radio today

Known across the Midlands after his years with BRMB, Heart and the host of the BBC WM Breakfast Show, he can be currently heard hosting the BBC Coventry & Warwickshire Drivetime show, which has been his home for the last six years.

His programme’s feature set-piece interviews, holding to account politicians and councillors and his knowledge and insight have recently earned him the title “Mr. Brexit” by his colleagues.

Phil is in demand across the Midlands as host and compere for corporate and charity events, hosting The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Symphony Hall, The Jaguar Land Rover Awards, Curry King of Birmingham and the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards all in 2018.

Phil still plays DJ sets for corporate clients and is a keen cyclist. In 2019 he will lead a 900-strong group of riders for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham on the 100-mile Velo Birmingham and Midlands event, raising over £200,000 for the hospital charity for which he is an events consultant.
