Introducing Andy Sax

Andy Sax is one of the UK’s busiest and most diverse saxophonists.

He has worked with chart topping artists well-known DJs and has performed worldwide.

Andy played for Plan B upon the release of his hugely successful album, ‘The Defamation Of Strickland Banks’ and has played at a host of well-known venues and festivals including Glastonbury, Royal Festival Hall, Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Camden’s Roundhouse.

He has also played on a number of TV shows including Later Live with Jools Holland and Alan Carr’s ‘Chatty Man’. Andy and his brother Alek are seen as Russian gangsters in Plan B’s directorial debut ‘ill Manors’.

Andy’s Background & History

Andy first started to work as a professional session musician and entertainer whilst studying for his music degree in the late 1990’s. By 2006 he had truly established himself on the international club scene.

Club Scene

Andy has performed with the likes of Judge Jules, Danny Howard, Kissy Sell Out, Grant Nelson, Graeme Park, Danny Rampling, Leroy Styles, Marshall Jefferson, Seamus Haji, Hoxton Whores, Jeremy Healy, CJ Mackintosh, Seb Fontaine, Norman Jay, Carnao Beats, Brandon Block, Alex P and was one of the original Hed Kandi resident performers in the early 00’s.

Solo Album

Andy is now firmly back on the club scene whilst dedicating the rest of his time on developing his own up and coming projects. Andy is working on his first solo album with a view to release late 2019.
